Art, we can appreciate it, but we’d never call ourselves Picasso! When we have to get arty in this office, it’s strictly stick-figures… but this doesn’t stop us from revelling in it, which is why when we were asked to help launch a new digital platform set to completely revolutionise the arts industry, ArtChain Global, we said ‘hello’ Van Gogh!

Founded by a group of Australian and Chinese entrepreneurs in partnership with Swinburne University of Technology, ArtChain Global will utilise blockchain technology to support the registration and trading of art assets. We came on board to launch the brand to market, developing an event concept that was guaranteed to get creative influencers, artists and industry heavyweights excited.

Managing the end-to-end event logistics, we curated an event at the National Gallery of Victoria which featured a thought provoking panel discussion led by emcee Helen Kapalos and panel members Murray White of famed gallery Murray White Room, blockchain expert Greg Adamson and renowned Australian artists Sally Ross and John Young.

Reasons to celebrate:

  • The launch drew a crowd of over 250 influential guests including arts media critic Gabriella Coslovich and staffers from The Jacky Winter Group.
  • We collaborated with internationally recognised choreographer Prue Lang who curated a contemporary dance piece interpreting blockchain technology.
  • The launch event sparked a number of significant conversations between the ArtChain Global team and industry influencers resulting in business development leads and investment opportunities.
  • Underpinning the launch event was a full media relations campaign reaching over 3 million; with coverage secured in arts, technology and business titles including The Australian, Talking Technology, Issimo Magazine, ArtsHub and Smart Company.
